CStar Line has announced the launch of a new shipping route, the FRS1 service, connecting China to several major Red Sea ports, including Sokhna Port in Egypt.
This new service is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to expand its regional network and enhance trade routes. The FRS1 will operate twice monthly, utilizing a fleet of four vessels, and will have a total capacity of 2,000 TEUs.
The rotation includes key ports such as Ningbo, Shanghai, and Nansha in China, as well as Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Aqaba (Jordan), and Sokhna (Egypt). By linking these strategic locations, the FRS1 service is set to significantly improve shipping connectivity between East Asia and the Red Sea region, offering new opportunities for trade and logistics growth.
This expansion marks an important step in strengthening supply chains and supporting regional commerce with faster, more efficient maritime solutions.
