High Security Container Seals Meeting ISO 17712 Now Mandatory on All International Shipments

Ocean Network Express (ONE) has made it mandatory for all customers to use high security container seals compliant with ISO 17712:2013 or higher on all international shipments carried by the line or under its responsibility. The carrier said the requirement takes effect immediately and is intended to strengthen cargo security, protect supply chain integrity and reduce the risk of container tampering or unauthorised access. ONE confirmed that seals meeting the standard support compliance with international security requirements and programmes, including C-TPAT, AEO and World Customs Organization frameworks, reinforcing the reliability of ocean transport operations worldwide.
