Mid Egypt Group, the Egyptian shipping agent for Qatar's Milaha line, has announced the launch of regular shipping services to Egyptian ports starting April 2026.
The new service will operate a direct weekly route between Egyptian and Turkish ports, offering more flexible and reliable freight movement between the two countries.
The inaugural voyage will be marked by the arrival of the vessel Al-Baydaa at Alexandria Port, with a carrying capacity of up to 1,100 TEUs of general cargo.
This move strengthens maritime connectivity between Egypt and regional markets, providing importers and exporters on the Egypt–Turkey corridor with a consistent weekly shipping option.
