Medkon Lines announced the launch of a new group of shipping services in the Eastern Mediterranean, connecting Turkey with North Africa and the Levant, with Damietta Port included in the operating network.
New services:

Marmara & Eastern Mediterranean Service (MES):
Istanbul (Ambarli) – Izmit – Aliaga – Damietta – Beirut – Mersin – Istanbul.

Turkey – Benghazi Service (TBS):
Istanbul (Ambarli) – Izmit – Nemport – Benghazi – Istanbul.

Turkey – Algeria Service (TAE):
Operated by two vessels with a capacity of approximately 800 TEUs per vessel, on the following route:
Istanbul (Ambarli) – Izmit (Safiport) – Nemport – Algeria – Istanbul.
The new services are expected to enhance regional maritime connectivity and support trade flows and container movements between Turkey, Egypt, North Africa, and the Eastern Mediterranean.
