Hapag-Lloyd has announced the implementation of a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) on all shipments destined for the Port of Dakar in Senegal, due to increased demand during the upcoming period.
The surcharge will take effect from October 27 for shipments originating from Africa, Asia and Oceania, Europe, the Middle East, and the Indian Subcontinent, and from November 14 for shipments from North and Latin America.
Hapag-Lloyd also stated that this surcharge replaces any previously applicable PSS for the same destination (Dakar – SN).
