The Saudi Ports Authority (MAWANI), in coordination with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), has announced the implementation of new requirements for manifest data submission prior to vessel arrival at Saudi ports.
The decision aims to enhance the efficiency of customs operations and ensure data readiness before vessels reach Saudi seaports.
📅 Effective from October 29, 2025
According to the new regulations, cargo and manifest data must be submitted through the FASAH platform within the following timelines:
🔹 From distant ports: No less than 72 hours before vessel arrival
🔹 From nearby ports: No less than 24 hours before vessel arrival
🔹 For short voyages (less than 24 hours): Submission may be made at any time before arrival
⚠️ Late submissions after the specified deadlines will be subject to monitoring and regulatory fines.
Nowlun encourages all customers and partners in Saudi Arabia to ensure timely and accurate submission of shipment data to avoid delays or penalties and to maintain smooth cargo movement across Saudi ports.
