Alexandria Container and Cargo Handling Company has reported a collision that occurred on June 30 during the berthing of a container vessel operated by Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) at the terminal berth in Dekheila Port. The incident resulted in the vessel striking two quay cranes, rendering them out of service since the beginning of July.
The company confirmed that no injuries or loss of life occurred. Operations at the terminal have continued without interruption, with all necessary safety measures in place to protect both personnel and equipment. The company is currently coordinating with relevant authorities to assess the technical and financial impact of the damage.
